Goddang I had a small shock when looking at this blog I got tumblr’s “There’s nothing here” page and panicked thinking it had gotten deleted by some server error. Thank heck it hasn’t but boy that was a surprise.

Dhhdudb (I wasnt expecting a response) if you watch it you should go for the sub like I usually wouldn’t say that but the dub removed/changed a lot including a really important episode! (Using dub names to avoid confusing) Off the top of my head he: saved Demolishor’s spark after his body was destroyed by the energon grid and gave him a new one, called off an attack on cybertron to save Tidal Wave after a big energon tower fell on him (he was really distressed too) (1/2)

(2/?) Interestingly enough when he first saw the revived(?) Starscream/nightscream he also got very distressed and tried to chase after him and when Nightscream ended up in the army he really seems to treat him a lot better than he did in the previous series which I think implies he has a hella lot of guilt for what happened before? Also he got Shockblast off of tidal wave when he got Shockblast was angry over Tidal wave not following his orders. Also he saved his army from getting blasted…

(3/3( By an energon grid. (Also no he didn’t kill Cyclonus. Cyclonus got blasted by enemy fire on moon city and was asking for repairs and well he got a new body? I’m not really sure what happened or why he started yodeling (for all I know it could have been unicron cause well he did use unicron’s power to do it?) but no he didn’t kill him o.o/) So yeah that’s as far as I know in episode 23 and off the top of my head ovo; / (this got really rambly sorry- ).

Well you mentioned the magic words of “Galvatron caring” so automatically have my attention.

Well the site I usually use to watch them only has the dub (Beast Wars 2 has no dub as far as I’m aware so when I start watching that and it’s adorable Galvatron it won’t be ‘edited’.) but after the ‘fiasco’ that was RiD01′s lackluster self I think I’d definitely want to hunt out the sub for Energon!.

GOD these are so cute though?? He’s making sure none of his little morons get hurt too badly awwww, I love it! Energon’s worth watching for him alone it seems! God, just good boi alert right here! My night has *absolutely* been made, thank you!

I’m not surprised with the note on Starscream/Nightscream he was pretty dang devastated in Armada when he died and immediately relented and teamed up with the Autobots and was angry when Starscream was insulted. I have no doubt he was damn guilty over what happened.

A refresher look on TFwiki says “

Megatron bound Cyclonus to the wall using Unicron’s internal tentacles, and infused him with Unicron’s essence in a painful manner. This resulted in Cyclonus being upgraded into Snow Cat” so yeah he wasn’t killed and idk about how much influence Unicron really had on that but Megatron still messed him over.

Don’t apologise for rambling I already have done and likely will continue to ramble endlessly about Galvatron so bring the rambling on.
I don’t know about Cybertron yet and my memory of AoE is too fuzzy to comment but gosh every Galvatron has had at least one moment of care about his own troops now. I love him so much.

Energon/superlink fan (rare ik) here. I havent got at that point yet but i think you would be interested in it’s Galvatron. It’s implied at the end that after the whole thing with unicron in armada/micron legend Convoy (Optimus) and Galvatron were both actually corrupted by him which could explain Galvatron’s actions (though it may have been taken out of the dub since they changed almost everything there) Plus he did have quite a few moments of caring for his army if you want a list

Honestly I haven’t watched Energon in full and I think the one show I used to be able to catch super early in the mornings when I did have a tv was Cybertron.

I’ve been kind of timid to actually watch it fully due to how bad it’s rumored to be, and for Megatron killing off/turning Cyclonus into an entirely new yodeling bot (yikes).

Oddly enough Armada!Galvatron being corrupted by Unicron is a plot point in a alt. timeline I discuss with my friends, so that’s actually interesting to hear! And sadly, yeah I can already safely say it’s likely the dub removed that, considering the dub of ‘Robots in Disguise 2001′ removed Galvatrons philosophical rant about immortality and breaking free from his fate and turned into a generic “mwahahaha I’m tha villain of this battle” speech.

But hey, my dude, I am ALWAYS down for Galvatron caring for his army. ALWAYS. I mean you don’t even have to ask if you got that sweet Galvatron stuff be it canon scenes or your own headcanons I’ll heckin’ take it.

So it turns out one of Galvatron’s concept colour schemes in Armada was this:

Makes me think about how he took the first opportunity to change his name to Galvatron, was upset when people used his old name and was also FAR happier, nicer and just so much more ‘content’ like that.

Kudos to fanfiction writers for writing about all the trauma and emotional and mental turmoil that the original content creators dont acknowledge when putting characters through hell

This has evolved to one of fanfiction’s major assets in my eyes. To every author that cares enough about the characters in their stories to examine trauma, but also the slow, tedious processes of healing and recovery: your stories mean so much to me and other persons with mental health problems. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
