What is Rupture’s fav food? What does Paradox do for hobbies? Is Nipper hard to feed/care for? Where would they go if they could take a vacation anywhere? Does Cyclotron pester other siblings to go on ghost hunts?

This got long so I put it under a cut. A paragraph for each question.

Rupture’s favourite food wouldn’t be anything as gross as their twins gross watermelon concoction, I can imagine they’re into things a bit more mundane albeit probably have a small taste for blood/fresh Energon on account of probably absent-mindedly licking some off their fingers while feeding the Leeches.
Though I suppose they’d always have a soft spot for the home baked stuff, so probably one of Galvatron’s cakes would be their favourite. Though even then it’d likely be more on the plain side of things so just a slice of vanilla sponge.

Paradrox has a habit of stealing signs with preference to “Do not disturb” ones. It’s both something they do to decorate their living quarters and occasionally to indulge a little in the chaos the lack of signs brings. Though they do have hobbies that take after their creators a bit more. They’d like fiddling with things and building tiny contraptions like Galvatron, but also go for runs and general exercise to ‘keep on their toes’ like Cyclonus does.

Nipper, like Earth leeches, does not particularly need to be fed that often and really just needs a tank of water to keep clean and moist in and food. That’s it. Rupture just spoils them a bit and gives them a liiiiittle too much food and lets them perch on their shoulders. The more impressive thing is how Rupture managed to train the little bugger.

Anywhere aesthetically pleasing. Rupture would want to go somewhere with a good view they can ‘indulge’ in and Paradrox is fine with travelling just about anywhere, if it’s ‘boring’ they can always make it not so.

Yes he does. All the time.
All of them have been on at least one ghost hunt with him.
Paradrox isn’t the best though as they’ll get bored easily, fidget and maybe mess with stuff they’re not meant to. Rupture has zero interest in it but can barely deny their baby bro much. Galvonus always accompanies him on every one because he has to protect his twin (He also does not trust this “Starshine” fellow Cyclotron has mentioned before). Bedlam is both good and bad on a ghost hunt, the bad thing is they’re messy and tend to destroy things, the good thing is they’re a bit like a track/bloodhound on any strange thing. Turbulence, Warnado and Shockdrive I’m not super sure on yet, though they’re the three that have the least build on them at the moment.

I don’t have any sketches tonight but instead I could do some Extriverse info dumping?

I mean like If you want to know about a certain character drop an ask and I’ll rattle off a few things about them, would be helpful in making me think of characters I don’t normally do (I won’t say I have something for everyone though, there’s a lot of bots) or just to list out more info on our faves or about something in particular.

What with all the Bee-hype I decided to finish up Extriverse Bumblebee!
Info and all the explanation for his design (and yes, the mandibles too) under the cut.

  • Hey so the bug features and mandibles?
    Well, he’s small, named Bumblebee, black and yellow… why not just dive even further into the bug aesthetic?
  • His protoform was originally meant to be an insecticons but instead he ended up in a vehicle-dominated area so instead of going the way his initial coding meant to take him he scanned a vehicle upon activation and became as he is now.
  • He is generally over the self-conscious part of his life regarding his features and error in mode, but he still rarely uses or exposes his insecticon-mandibles. Even then, they’re small and rounded, not very threatening or useful.
  • If anything he thinks he’s cute now.
  • Probably the youngest bot but was around pre-war too, like Rumble and Frenzy.
  • Has the makings of a good leader in him and has been put in high-ranking positions within teams and groups before and is likely to start leading his own missions and teams soon.
  • Shaped like a friend.
  • Often keeps his small arms tucked up under his chest so they end up looking like just another part of his plating til he takes them out.
  • If he closes his smaller optics, they look like eyebrows.
    Yes. He finds some amusement in that fact.
  • Was impressed by Earth Bumblebee’s when he first saw them exclaiming “They’re yellow and round like me!” because he is adorable.
  • Ride or die mothertrucker.

So I mentioned managing to make a “Rescue Bots Academy AU” despite the show not even airing yet and this is it. I know it takes place in the same Universe but lets just pretend the anti climatic show end of RiD15 didn’t happen so there was no Cyclonus.

To summarise! The class discover two protoform pods! After rescue they decide to free whoever’s inside and to Heatwave’s shock it’s two young Decepticons! Unable/unwilling to punish them on the deeds of their elders they’re promptly added to the Academy as new members hoping to teach them the ways of helping and saving people rather than aggression.
It’s working for the most-part and they’re good, eager students even if their methods are a bit more… forceful than need be. The spirit is there.

Name: Rupture     –      Paradrox

Nicknames: Rups, Ruppy (by family only), Grumpy-Pants (By Paradrox only), ‘Brosis’ (By younger siblings only)    –    Drox, Droxy, Pancake (By Galvatron only), ‘Brosis’ (By siblings only).
Pronouns: They/Them.
Creators: Galvatron, Cyclonus.
Siblings: Cyclotron, Galvonus, Turbulence, Bedlam, Warnado, Shockdrive.
Partners: Scope (Rupture’s future partner/bonded).

Personality:
Rupture easily comes off as quite cold and aloof to those they’ve just met, being distant and almost condescending in attitude.
It takes a load of patience and exposure to realise that it’s not exactly ‘like that’.
Rupture simply takes their duty seriously and tries to set an example, but their inability to mesh with social situations as well as anyone else hinders this, prompting some awkward thoughts and concerns about future leadership and they often defer to their twin for help yet they’re perfectly fine to lay out reprimands or concerns on others if they feel they need it. It doesn’t help with the first point.
Despite all this, and probably thanks to their twin, Rupture is quite tolerant and slow to anger, they are perfectly content to spend days at a time simply ‘being’ and of course experimenting and playing with their pride and joy – Their leeches.

Paradrox is a wild card, yet bizarrely responsible.
Mischievous and impulsive ‘droxy can’t help but fidget and move about, their attention seemingly doing the same as they tend to miss out on a few words or forget things such as dates, or annoy people by asking them to repeat things only to cut them off at the second word as they ‘get it now’.
Their energy is only matched by their outgoing, social attitude and absolute inability to leave things alone. They just can’t help themselves from tinkering with devices and items and often need something to fiddle with if you don’t want to find your pens dismantled and paper torn or folded into origami.
Their favourite things to ‘tinker’ with are doomsday devices and teleportation software.

Notes/Extra:

  • Rupture is Autistic.
  • They often forget to wash leech slime from themselves and can be sticky to the touch.
  • Speaking of leeches, their primary leech is their (rather spoiled) pet one named Nipper. Rupture often ‘stims’ with Nipper, stroking the leech calms them down and helps them think.
  • Rupture can barely deny their younger siblings anything, and often finds some comfort in the presence of protoforms/sparklings too.
  • Hates the smell of wet grass.
  • Enjoys long scenic flights and hot drinks.
  • Paradrox helps them when they feel close to a breakdown or if ‘droxy catches Rups missing a ‘social cue’ by giving them a nudge or two.

  • Paradrox likes to occasionally do something ‘weird’ just to gauge people’s reaction.
  • The fascination with teleportation technology is a reference to Skywarp.
  • When they were very young Paradrox misheard the word “Autistic” and thought Rupture had an extra component called a “OT stick”, while they now know and can pronounce it properly they still occasionally refer to it as such in order to make Rupture smile.
  • One of their ‘Doomsday devices’ exploded and coated the room in Blueberry jam.
  • Rupture often helps ‘reel them in’ if they’re getting too excitable or overbearing.
  • Likes Watermelon topped with raw salmon, mustard, hot sauce, mint sauce and blue cheese with a dash of salt. Yes. All in one. It’s gross.
