G1 – Needs more Galvatron

when the villain is your fave

So I was talking to someone on DA about how BWII’s Galvatron is pink which then turned to “We need more pink Galvatrons” and y’know what? We do! He looks great!

I don’t know what’s actually going on here but this looks like Galvatron is absolutely about to throw Starscream across the city and protect the small bot.

You guys want another character realisation that goes utterly unnoticed by the fandom?

Galvatron is actually more honest and straightforward than Megatron was.

For real.
Watch season one and two of the original show and Megatron lies, manipulates, is a sneaky duplicitous, conniving, scheming git, actively hiding behind others (and humans) to protect himself while taking advantage of everyone around him.

Galvatron does not do that at all.
The closest he gets is one episode where he bluffs about having a ultimate weapon, which takes advantage of Rodimus’s continual crisis of faith or making a fake deal with a human who already knew he was probably going to get nothing anyway (so not even being that manipulative there either).
Other than that Galvatron is very straightforward with his plans, doesn’t actually lie and trick others, he makes his intentions clear, his plans are straight to the action with no unnecessary bullshit (and this is NOT because he’s stupid, he’s been shown MANY times to be just as intelligent as Megatron), no lies or manipluation.
He also tends to be a bit more successful than Megatron ever was.

But sure, tell me how Galvatron is totally the worse, more stupid, annoying, crueler more cowardly one, while Megatron is ‘so totally’ the more brave, warrior of the two leaders.
